Last weekend, Mackenzy, Mimi (my mom), and I went to Fall Festival at our neighborhood. The HOA set up several giant blow up slides and mazes, they had horse rides, popcorn, hot dogs, candy apples, music, door prizes, and a costume contest! Although there weren't as many things for young children as I'd hoped, we still had fun and it was nice to see that our HOA payment goes towards something fun!
The weather was beautiful and Mackenzy loved riding the horse! I tried to convince my mom to ride with us but she decided to be the photographer instead! Mackenzy was intrigued with the horse but was terrified to pet it... And of course, she kept calling it a doggie!
On Sunday, we went to church and I was asked to stay in the nursery and help. I was given a glimpse of what Mackenzy will act like in 3 years and it was quite frightening! The 4 year old girls had so much personality and they were SO busy! Mackenzy had a wonderful time playing and running around and she was dressed in her Sunday's best!
