23 weeks and looking pregnant!

Hi everyone! Here is my latest picture! I'm 23 weeks and 2 days and definately feeling less graceful... The past few weeks have been pretty good. I've been struggling with the heat in my working environment (I work in a public school gym that doesn't have air conditioning) with does not make me a happy camper. I've been paying close attention to my temperature and water intake, but I'm definately ready for June 15 which is the last day of school!

Baby Mackenzy is moving around all the time and she really seems to love being around basketball! This weekend I watched Ray's basketball team play in the state championships and she moved throughout the entire game. The gym they played in also had no air, but we had fun supporting him. After the game my hands, feet, and face were slightly swollen, but I still took a picture for everyone!

21 weeks!

Here is my latest picture! I'm starting to look and feel very pregnant and that's definately taking some getting use to! The hardest adjustment has been bending over to pick up things off the floor. My belly gets in the way, I feel off balance, and I feel like I'm squishing the baby! Luckily, I have wonderful students that love to help me and I have developed a strange squatting motion that seems to be working!

Ray and I went baby stuff looking and it was wonderful to be able to look at gender specific items! I don't know how people go the whole pregnancy not knowing their baby's sex. We will be registered at Target (www.target.com) and Babies R Us (www.babiesrus.com). It's still early for us to purchase items, but it sure was fun looking!

Mackenzy Star Cheek

Ok, we're back from our anniversary trip to Myrtle Beach. We had a restful weekend, but now it's back to reality! Here are the latest pictures of our BABY GIRL!

Every time the ultrasound tech tried to take her picture she would put her hand over her face! I guess she was tired of being poked by the machine!

Those are definately Ray's lips, but I think she's gonna have my nose!

Happy Anniversary!

I would like to say Happy Anniversary to the most wonderful husband in the world! I can't believe it's already been a year! I LOVE YOU RAY RAY!

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!

After waiting 21 weeks, drinking 2 cups of water, 3/4 of a can of Mountain Dew, and eating a bagel and cream cheese before my appointment, we finally know what baby is! We're having a beautiful baby GIRL!!! She was very active during this appointment and was kicking the ultrasound as it went across my belly. Everything looks normal and we're finally able to call her baby Makenzy Star Cheek (spelling is still under question)!

*we're out of town so picture will be posted when we get back!

19 Weeks! Almost 1/2 way there!

Hello Everyone! I think we're finally over the disappointment of not learning the sex of the baby last week... We're eagerly awaiting out ultrasound next Friday and praying that baby will show me something good!

Not much has happened this week. Every day someone swears my stomach grew over night (which it probably did) and today my stomach was patted by someone. I have to say that I don't mind the rubbing by the select few, but being patted felt very strange! I went shopping over the weekend and got a few more items from my new favorite store, Motherhood Maternity, and got bothered by an over eager sales clerk...

Life is pretty regular right now. I have an urge to nest, but that's hard to do when I don't know what we're having. Hopefully baby will cooperate next time so I can start thinking about decorations!

Anyway, here is my latest belly shot in my new outfit! I'm 19 weeks, 3 days in this picture. Baby is moving around a lot lately, but still not enough for others to feel. What's your guess? Is it a boy or a girl???

I forgot to post the picture below last week. This was from our last ultrasound. Since baby wouldn't cooperate, we got a picture of a hand and an arm which wasn't to exciting. We did get our 1st 4D image of baby's face which was kind of cool. It took me a while to figure out what I was looking out, but if you stare at it long enough you can see that it's a profile shot of baby. The eyes, nose, lips, and cheeks are very noticeable.
