Mackenzy aka. the College Student

I've never been too keen on Halloween. As a kid I remember going trick or treating once and I went to Halloween functions at my dad's church. I've never really liked candy; I'm terrified of ghosts; and I don't really see a point in the holiday except that it's one holiday closer to Christmas! Strangely enough, I married a man who feels the same way about Halloween. We just don't get what all the fuss is about!

In saying all of that, we opted not to spend the money on a Halloween costume that she will only wear once. Instead, Mackenzy will be wearing her cute kitty hoodie from her Auntie Beth and going to Fall Festival in our neighborhood as a college student! Ha ha! When she gets a little older we'll shop consignment sales for a costume and take her trick-or-treating with friends and let her make her own decisions about Halloween...

Here she is striking a pose! Look at all those teeth! She still only has 6 teeth which is fine with me because they bother her so much when they come in.



Clearly looking guilty and giving me the "Mommy I didn't steal anything and it's not in my hand right now!" face. (It's a tape measure if you're wondering.)



I hate that this picture came out so dark, but doesn't she look so grown at 13 months? She's still a tall and skinny baby and is becoming super feisty and strong willed...


Looking straight gangsta in this photo. I think she looks exactly like Ray when he wears a hoodie. They look like they could be twins...



Oh yeah, she can drink out of a cup now and clearly knows that cups contain some kind of tasty liquid in them that's ok to drink.. Which means that no cup or water bottle is safe around this child! Luckily this cup was empty, but she spotted it when I was trying to change her diaper and got to it before me!
